I believe that the most interesting and most powerful music recordings will ALWAYS be recorded LIVE in ONE TAKE by talented musicians performing simultaneously at the same time in the same place - the heart and soul of the track is completely lost when you layer a recording "one instrument at a time", as is the common practice in the music industry today.  Layering some background vocals, an extra percussion track, an electric guitar solo, or a bassline to the core live recorded track later might improve the track if done by a very skilled producer, but likely it will just take all the heart and soul out of the track completely and leave the listener bored and uninspired.  Soul-less music production is a very recent invention, and it is literally taking the soul and humanity out of our world.

These tracks were all recorded LIVE, with me playing the guitar (or banjo) and singing SIMULTANEOUSLY in ONE TAKE.  This is a much more difficult (but much more powerful) way to approach recorded music than is the industry standard.  These tracks are a window into my soul, and I hope they will leave you moved and inspired.
